At AI Commenter for LinkedIn (“we”, “our”, “us”), we value your privacy, transparency, and trust. This page explains how we collect, process, and protect your data, as well as our refund and cancellation terms for paid users.

Privacy Policy

When you click the “AI Comment” button on a LinkedIn post, the extension reads the visible content of the post (such as the post text and, if available, images attached to the post). This content is temporarily sent to our secure backend server and, when necessary, to trusted third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini) solely for generating an AI comment.

This information is processed only for the purpose of generating the requested comment and is not permanently stored after processing.

Data Collected by the Extension

The extension may collect and process limited technical data necessary for its functionality, including:

• An anonymous installation identifier (userId) generated by the extension to manage usage limits and subscription status.
• Minimal account information such as email address and license key when a user activates a paid subscription.
• Local storage data (such as remaining free comments, usage limits, or subscription status) stored in the browser using Chrome’s storage system.

This data is used strictly to operate the extension and is never sold, rented, or used for advertising purposes.

• We do not permanently store LinkedIn post text or images after processing.
• We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.
• Data is processed only to generate the comment you requested.
• We may store minimal account data (e.g., email, license status, and usage limits) for account management and subscription verification.
• All communication between the extension, our backend servers, and AI providers is transmitted securely.

The extension only accesses content on LinkedIn pages when a user explicitly chooses to generate an AI comment. No background monitoring of LinkedIn activity occurs.

The extension does not collect, store, or access personal LinkedIn account data such as your name, messages, private posts, or connections. We are fully committed to data minimization and user confidentiality.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Because this is a digital software product, we offer a 7-day refund window for new purchases.

• If you experience a technical issue or accidental charge, contact us within 7 days of purchase at usman.07.tahir.07@gmail.com.
• After 7 days, refunds are not guaranteed but may be granted at our discretion in cases of verified technical faults.
• Cancellations can be requested at any time and will stop future billing cycles immediately.

Refunds, when approved, will be issued to the original payment method used during purchase.

Security

All communications between the extension, our backend servers, and AI providers are transmitted using encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to backend systems is restricted and protected using industry-standard security practices.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy & Refund Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected on this page, and continued use of the service implies acceptance of the revised policy.
